PROCUREMENT/ PURCHASING MANAGER

Job summary: Visionary, Top Level Procurement Manager within medical, pharma filed, minimum 3-5 years of proven purchasing experience. This person will manage a directly subordinated team of 3 colleagues. He or she, will hierarchically report to Financial Director
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Will be responsible for the supply of products and services essential for our company’s operations (ex. Medical consumables, medical equipment)
• To strategize to find the most cost-effective deals and suppliers. The Procurement Manager’s role is to discover the best ways to minimize our procurement expenses so that the company can invest in its growth and people
• Managing procurement activities from local and international sources, collaborating with governmental institutions, managing custom issues: import, return back processes
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Manage warehouse stock (content, quantity, distribution of goods, quality, expiration period of goods etc.) and forecasting demand for services and products to meet the business needs
• Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Fundamental knowledge of medical field (equipment, consumables, international field related vendors)
• Experience in procurement, stock management, logistics, import, export in a pharmaceutical industry, or medical companies, fundamental knowledge of custom procedures, min 3 years
• Fluency in Romania, Russian, English
• Reporting skills and knowledge (able to present information in schemes, tables, presentation), therefore MS OFFICE at a very good level (Excel, Power Point, Word)
• Goal oriented, proactive personality with leadership skills and self-organized, great negotiator
• Previous experience in a multinational company is a real plus for forecasting and reporting reasons
